KEY Summer Enrichment is a communications-focused enrichment youth program focusing on building effective communication skills. This program provides a unique Summer Enrichment experience filled with creativity, friends, and fun. Our program is designed for Young Leaders 5th through 8th grade. Fun and unforgettable enrichment experiences promote the development of self-esteem, independence, and responsibility for all Young Leaders.

LEADERSHIP WEEK
Student leaders will learn and practice leadership principles, while exploring how to communicate effectively as leaders. Student leaders will also interact with one another to complete a leadership service learning project. This week is full of activities, critical thinking and excitement. At the end of the week student leaders have the opportunity to showcase their leadership skills in our weekly showcase.

CULTURE WEEK
Culture is engraved in all we do! Student leaders will take a week long journey into learning about culture and the importance of intercultural communication. Through cultural analysis, crafts and teamwork, student leaders expand their worldview and appreciation of culture. Students will show off their world renowned talents in our weekly showcase.

JOURNALISM & STORYTELLING WEEK
In a world dominated by information, it is imperative for young leaders to know how news is created, produced and presented. This week, young leaders will learn how to create news stories, articles, research, and complete an individual project. At the end of the week, students will display their newsworthy talents in our weekly showcase.

DEBATE & PUBLIC SPEAKING WEEK
Student leaders will participate in a week of debate and public speaking. This week focuses on current events and social issues that "middle schoolers" face on a daily basis. Student leaders will team up to form their debates and will showcase their speech and debate skills during our weekly showcase.
